This site is hosted on GitHub Pages, operated by GitHub, Inc. (88 Colin P. Kelly Jr. Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). When you access the site, GitHub's servers automatically collect information that your browser transmits to the server. This includes:
- Browser type and version
- Operating system
- Referring URL
- IP address (stored as server log entry)
- Time of request
This data is processed for the purpose of delivering the site and ensuring its security and stability (legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). This site does not set any cookies. No tracking, no analytics, no advertising identifiers.
4. Local storage
The site uses the browser's localStorage only to remember your selected library view (grid, timeline, map, colour). This data stays on your device and is never transmitted to any server.
5. Third-party resources
The following third-party resources are loaded when you view pages on this site:
- Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com, fonts.gstatic.com) — used to load the IBM Plex typeface. Your IP address is transmitted to Google servers to serve the font files. - jsDelivr / unpkg CDNs — used to load the Leaflet map library and a small animation library. Your IP address is transmitted to the CDN operator for the duration of the request. Legal basis: legitimate interest in reliable asset delivery (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- OpenStreetMap tiles (tile.openstreetmap.org) — loaded when you view the Library's Map view. Your IP and the requested tile coordinates are transmitted to OSM servers. Legal basis: legitimate interest in displaying a map (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Provider: OpenStreetMap Foundation, St John's Innovation Centre, Cowley Road, Cambridge, CB4 0WS, United Kingdom. Privacy: OSMF Privacy Policy.
- Discogs — referenced as the source of release metadata. Links to discogs.com open only when you click them.
We do not embed videos, social-media plugins, or advertising trackers.
6. Contact by email
If you contact us via the email address listed in the Imprint, your message and the email address you sent it from are stored to process the request. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR. Messages are retained only for as long as necessary to handle the enquiry and are not disclosed to third parties.
